Guest lxnt
The keep-alive feature was planned from the start and even implemented for a long time client-side. Please test my server-side implementation at lxnt.info:2000 The patch is here. This should solve the problem of hanging logins after forced disconnects. 7Saturn
OK, that means, I need to compile UFO2000 on my machine, doesn't it?
Guest lxnt
OK, that means, I need to compile UFO2000 on my machine, doesn't it? No, it does not. Pretty all existing clients have the client-side stuff already in them.
7Saturn
I just thougt that, because of the file attached. You said not for the client. But if I want to use the server program, I need to compile the server new with this file, in order to not having this problems with "my" server? (I sometimes use it, for playing against friends, who want to train a bit, but without having me the advantage of a rising score )
Guest lxnt
Indeed server has to be recompiled with the patch applied to the sources (revision 1073).
