Ok... I've finally settled on something to work on. This is geared twords Raven Squad's description of the Cydonia music, and as much as I like hard rock/metal, I'd rather it be more classical/military instrumental-ish. As always, this is nowhere near done, and has lots of fluff twords the end as I'm still figuring out where it's going to go. So have fun, lemme know your thoughts

Hmmm, not bad.

The drummy bits at the bginnng (that carry on) are ok, but perhapsa bit of variation would be nice?

When you finally to get to the bit of variation, it ends. :huh?: Im assuming it will carry on. And maybe its just me, but that Da-Deee-Da-Deeeee-Da-Da () bit at the end is a bit high pitched.

What about something like Goa trance for the Cydonia music? It's got the whole alienesque feel to it. If you want to listen to some, check out Digitally Imported, and check out the goa channel.

Not a bad start. You're synth seems to start just slightly early on each measure. I would try bringing in some piano or lead synth parts.
