I was just wondering if someone had made a kind of Doomsday for UFO, with high resolution, most compatible and so on?

?

Please rephrase the question.

Hmm, try ufo2000, that allows 640x480 resolution, other than that, I have no clue.

Edit: Why is this in the XcomUtil forum? Xcomutil doesn't allow you to do this(although you would have to ask stjones for the final word on this)

I'm only partially inactive. :P I can still be reached at cpl.facehugger@gmail.com, and via PM. Preferably the former.

Of course if you don't know Doomsday...

When i play to Xcom Defense (US) or UFO Enemy unknow (EU), i have a lot of bugs, even with the special windows version.

I have a lot of problems with Doom II too, before i have discovered the little freeware called Doomsday wich allows to play with high resolution, 44 kHz sound and fix a lot of bug.

But UFO 2000 is not that i was searching and i don't think this kind of software exists.

Do you understand, now?

Ohh! I have something like that, Zdoom 2! :D For the final word, I would talk to either stjones, micah, or one of the people who worked on ufo2000, they have all sorts of knowldage about this stuff.

Or you could post this in the Xcom 1 general forum and J'ordos will probably enlighten you from his considerable stockpile of knowldage.

knowldage

:huh?:

This does not really have anything to do with xcomutil, so I moved it to the miscellaneous forum

I don't think there's a doomsday for xcom, it was never as popular as doom I guess :boohoo:

Just wait until Xenocide is released! Us Xcommies have it better than those doomites! We are getting a full remake instead of just a upped resolution.

Id prefer a 3D XCOM virtual Helmet rather than a doomsday ufo kind of thing...

That's not because of popularity. ID software was just kind enough to release sources of Doom. Microprose never released sources of X-COM.
