Stow
Okie, well I've been away awhile but now its summer so I've got some time on my hands... And I see that the sound department has changed a little so please correct me if I'm posting this in the wrong place. bout a month ago I bought an Ar-15 so I figured I'd sit next to my computer's mic with it and (hopefully) fill some of Xenocide's sound needs vis a vis the puny human technology known as "regular rifle". So far I've just been playing around with mag changes and cycling the bol... tomorrow I'll go to chinamart er walmart and buy a cheapie tape recorder so I can make some "live" recordings with it. Anyways, heres what I got so far: edited to add: Took some empty .223s and dropped in front of my computer mic. Turned out surprisingly well. Not sure if we'll need a shelldrop sound, but here they are just in case.223shelldrops.zipStow___Regular_Rifle_Reload_Sounds.zip Edited June 5, 2005 by Stow
Exo2000
Mag-Eject And Replace 3B - Excellent. It's the kind of fast reload you expect a trained X-COM operative to be able to pull off. All the others are a bit too long, IMO. Perhaps a little randomiser script could be used to make different bolt cycle noises each time...
