Cosmonot
I'm new here, so I'm sorry if I goof up somehow. crc_error_13556.txt The beta game generated this error report while I was trying out prox grenades in a hotseat. I wasn't able to find a good place to send it at the actual UFO 2000 page, because the link seems to be busted. The game claimed it may crash or start doing weird things, alhough it continued to function normally until I quit. Later, the game chose as most valuable soldier in the match the snakeman who blew up most of his own team by stepping on a poorly tossed prox mine, without harming any of his enemies. It's not supposed to endorse teamkilliers, right?
[Blehm 98]
a CRC error is a compatability issue, but essentially you can make it by killing your own guys this stuff has always happened so you'll just have to ignore it
Sporb
i thought a CRC error was a syncronisation error
Jezulkim
It is, the hotseat games think they are network games, IIRC

[Blehm 98]
sorry, by compatability i meant by the host as conflicting data on the map than what the remote has, due to one guy killing his own team
