Mikko Ohtamaa
Hi, Me and some other guys in IRC have been trying run Ufo 2000 on Linux. - Compiling sources is difficult, because you need various rare libraries and dependencies (inc. versions) are not told in README/HACKING etc. files - People don't have time - they just want to see the thing and then decide, whether to give thumbs up for the project I suggest that UFO 2000 would have a statically build Linux distribution along with Windows distribution. Nowadays there are good cross-distribution Linux installers which make this possible. By making Linux playing easier you could drag and a lot of new Linux hackers for this wonderful project! bamb
If only a good UFO 2000 library package was available, that'd be a big help already!I know it exists but the server that has it is dead, can't anyone really upload it anywhere?
