I've designed a few myself, and I have plenty of coding Friends who do this work constantly if the Administrators should need any kind of free assistance. -_- EDIT: This Forum uses PHP, so it's easy to have a menu to select which template you could use, if anyone chooses to. Albino Crow Posted March 9, 2004 Author Report Share Posted March 9, 2004 Oh, I'm definitely not a fan of black. Dark colors don't seem to work well with web design. Brighter colors seem to be more appealing to the eyes for whatever reason. The current color scheme for this one is pretty good, but the only real changes I might consider would be some new flashy buttons, a banner reading " Xenocide & X-COM UFO Forums ", or something along those lines. A rundown of the ideas I have: - New banner at the top of the page.- New buttons, perhaps using game graphics from the various games. Soldier sprites, in-game screenshots, etc.- More smilies (not that important).- We could make minor design differences within the various forums on the site, giving them an individuality. Same color tint, but only a different hue. Generally I think it would work out best if everyone gave their opinions on a design template, but it would of course be optional on a menu if it were implemented. Either way, I'm happy. It's pretty much what we already have for changing the looks, just adding some of the graphics to the swap. It's pretty much what we already have for changing the looks, just adding some of the graphics to the swap.if u saw IPB's CSS files you wouldn't say the same thing. they spook the heck out of me. too many sections and sections and... sections it's much easier to replace the graphics, but replacing graphics usually needs a matching CSS.
