Base Sizes

can we make bases larger, instead of just the 6x6 grid that weve almost always been limited to? everybody is talking about these HUGE base facilities, so why not have a HUGE amount of expansion room, or maybe you could buy more room to expand upon (a la Roller Coaster Tycoon)

yeah i always found that thebases in the originals were just a bee too small... though it did make it fun sometimes...

 

or mabe possibly like in appoc each location will have its own layout? so some places like say... mount everest would have little space due to the dence rock formations

 

but i would favor the idea of purchasing more land... 2 squares can make a world of diffrence

What about a reaserch wich you can do to make the base two layers? but you can only have hangers on top and you acces lower lvl by the entrance shaft and you have a joice bout wether you go up or down.
