Darkhomb
Many people complain about problems with the zip, and I have the same problem. Winzip works with all zips as with winrar and others. The problem is not the programs them self. The problem is a setting on this board that sets the zip to be downloaded in ASCII format instead of binary which in-turn adds carriage returns at the end of each line into a format winzip/winrar can not understand. Though winrar can fix this problem by going to tools and clicking repair archive and choosing treat as zip and it will rebuild the file and I can then open it with all programs. But the problem would be permanently solved by changing that transfer options. I believe it is more the option for uploading (attaching) the files then downloading but both should be checked. Edit, Yup its the settings. I ziped a text file i can open with winzip and winrar then uploaded it and tried to download it and could open it with either. Darkhomb
Well It that file might not work because it was already uploaded in ascii.. I will reattach a working file and try again. Negitive ghostrider, still not working. I analized the file after i redownloaded it and it says its a Gzip. It was a zip before. I noticed at the bottom of this page it says Gzip enabled. What does the plugin do to the files? does it recompress them? this could have something to do with it.
