I hate to ask, but since the forums don't appear to be all that active, is the project still being worked on?

Because the most recent progress release is pretty cool, and I'd hate for such a good looking game to just vanish.

I'm not a programmer or have really ever seen what it takes to build a game, so I don't want to offend anyone.

By the way, my name is Steven, and I really hope to see some awesome progress, and if I can somehow help in
my lack of expertise state, just let me know.

Step 1
make sure you've given us a valid email address
Step 2
look around the project and you will see various departments for it, decide which one you feel you would fit best in and contact the departments leader. They'll give you stuff to do.

You already appear to have plenty of writers at your disposal, all I am is a Psych student, and I work in a machine shop running a either a water jet or a laser cutter.

I really do not know how I can help you guys, unless you need something cut out of 10 gauge steel.

Well, for now why don't you just hang out and contribute to threads where appropriate until you get your sea legs. Maybe then you might get an idea.

Just explore the various threads and work on whatever you enjoy most :)
The CTD (Creative Text Department) is a good place to start
