Cpl. Facehugger
Androids are a valuable commodity. Plus, I've been stuck with several days of hybrids but no droids.
Robo Dojo 58
I'll take a hybrid, if that's all there is.

[NKF]
Yes, the androids are a valuable commodity. We go out and do all the mucky jobs to protect our human and hybrid allies from being harmed so that they can grow strong and kick the aliens back through the gates and out the other side. Yes, we do good. If there's too high an android request (or any other species, for that matter, but you're currently under a shortage), you could nudge the game a little to randomise the recruit list (i.e. cheat). Just before the day ends, save. Then go to the next day and scan the recruits. Recruits should change every day, so you'll be able to regenerate the list by reloading and ending the day over and over until you get a handful of the race that you want. While this may break the main rule of playing 'ironman' campaigns (i.e. no reload immortality), I think you can look at it this way. You're not doing this to revive anyone (you're also technically not breaking the rules). And it'll keep the hybrid and android players happy. - NKF
Cpl. Facehugger
Robo: You are already a droid. Remember? The aliens hurt you on the first mission. NKF: I'll try that if there isn't an android on the next game day. Nyyperoid err Puasonen: You're in. You'll be replacing robo while he is repaired Everyone: If you want to be assigned to a particular vehicle (Like say you've always wanted to ride a hoverbike) just post it here. Robo Dojo 58
I'd like a blazer turbo bike. Later I want an upgraded engine, as I rack up the kills.
Cpl. Facehugger
Okay. A BTB it is. I should warn you that such a mode of transport is highly dangerous. Just one good hit and *boom*
Jonaleth Irenicus
Heh... who d'ya got to thank for that? You of course I'd like a Retalitator when possible (and I'll always stay in the Retalitator, during UFO fights and such).
Puasonen
I want a hovercar with dual rendor plasma guns, later lineage plasmacannons when available and heavy weapons control system..
Whitewashed
I want a Annihilator with distruptor beams or a Hawk Air Warrior with plasma cannons and a prophet missile
[NKF]
I want a tea pot. . . . What? Er, I wouldn't mind carpooling in a Stormdog, or even an APC when travelling around the city. I'd actually like an Explorer or a Bio trans, but they're a long way away. Failing that, I am still getting my teapot, even if it means I have to walk to the Nutrivend megamall at 2 in the morning in my pyjamas, robot slippers and megapol helmet just to get it! - NKF Edited March 18, 2004 by NKF
Robo Dojo 58
If a UFO is shot down, won't we all need a single, flying ship? A Hawk Air Warrior with a few passenger slots may be needed for that. A hovercar can have 8 people, so that would also be good.
Deathskull
when i get my android, give me a phoenix hovercar with best engine. Dont care about weapons, just give me something good
j'ordos
Moved these posts to the equipment thread. That said, I'll take a police hovercar . Else a hoverbike will do fine
Jonaleth Irenicus
I am not sure whether these craft are for going to missions in the city or fighting UFOs (I think everbody has their own opinion) but I'll use the "common" vehicle when going to missions and such (valkyre interceptor and other stuff) but I'll definitely ride that Retallitator during UFO fights when we get one. Also, can you name vehicles (I kinda forgot). If so, can I name my Retallitator "Marduk"? Edited March 18, 2004 by Jonaleth Irenicus
Cpl. Facehugger
Okay, here is how it will work: During UFO interceptions and moving around in the city, you'll be in your vehicle. If we need to raid a crashed ufo (why don't they ever land? ) Then you are all getting stuck in the Hawk/Valk/Annhilator. NKF- Your APC will be ready. Would you like to upgrade to a tank? Only .99 Cents. Jonaleth- You'll get the first retilator off the assembly line Deathskull- You'll get the hovercar, but I can't promise the engine. SuperDynamics isn't too pleased right now. The damage wasn't too bad... Robo-A blazer it is. Puasonen- A hovercar it is, you'll get an Xcom advanced control system later.
Robo Dojo 58
Vehicles can be renamed in the vehicle equipment menu. That being said, I want my bike called "The Ghost Rider". It's not a talking car, but it'll do.
