Sound Department Roll In

Ok, guys who are the active sound department members (either recruits or full member). Take in mind that after you post you will be assigned a task to be completed in 1 week and a half, required estimated completion time (3 to 4 hours).

Only because you are the first ;) Task 32 of the Xenocide Planning... we need a list of the different sound effects for every one of the characters, and the specific states for them... for example:

 

Humans ---

Step in grass (4 different)

Step in metal (4 different)

....

etc

 

For each character type --- Human all the same

Pistol Hit (2 different On bare skin, 2 on armour)

Laser Hit (2 different On bare skin, 3 on armour)

Plasma Hit (2 different On bare skin, 3 on armour)

 

Divide aliens types depending some characteristics

 

 

Dead (4 different )

Injured (4 different)

Critically Injured (4 different)

 

Etc :)

 

I think it can be done in 3 to 4 hours with care.

Along with the list... do the sound tags fit into a XML file somewhere?

 

Like we have ITEM.XML... maybe something called ACTION.XML

to place the various sound attributes ?

 

or maybe stick them into ITEM.XML ? whatever... :-)

That is Mr_S list to be created...

 

kelargo, concentrate on Architectural (Task 33) ones... that includes hits, explosions, hit metal over grass, metal over metal, buildings falloffs, etc... Blue has the list of environmentals ones, if you want to trade that one with him It is OK for me

 

About XML, nope yet.
