The Spectrum version of Laser Squad was ace. One of my favourites. I know this forum doesn't take kindly to abandonware links, but if you look into the world of spectrum you too can find this great game.

no problem with abandonware, but the X-Com series has not yet been made abandonware, so it's illegal to download it.
Laser Squad, OTOH hand is abandonware, and there's no harm in downloading it, as far as I know: http://www.geocities...tsca.geo/laser/
