Ok, people, one tournament is over, let's have another one. I have enough free time to organize this one.

Everybody can join.
Those who were succesfull in first tournaments will be seeded so they won't meet in first round.

If there is more players then tournament format allow, one round of qualifications will be held.

Rules are simple:
Deathmatch
Explosive level 3
Time limit: none
turn limit: none
Items on ground off
explore level 1
map 5x5
15K

Definitely sign me up. Hopefully we can get a great turnout for this one as well, Thanks for stepping up on this one Spiro, with the new system you outlined for scoring in tournaments this could be a really cool system.

I'm up for this tournament.

I have to admit I shouldn't of ran multiple divisions at once. Not as many players will be likely to show up. I actually prefer playing the tournaments than organising them.

I just want to have opportunity to meet good players regulary. And tournaments are good way to do it. It's not such a big deal to organise one. I think next one could be organized by v3Bu. He has shown some interest.

Modified city is safe bet couse everybody have that map.
Maybe if every player can post maps they have installed, i'll randomly select map for every match, else, map is modified city.

Hmm I think that we should make one standard map. Modified city is a good choice. Some maps are just unfair for some teams. eg: Cydonia - Laser cannot destroy the rocks which makes every unit kneeing behind hit acually immortal, also its full of bugs (UFOS)

Cydonia is too full of bugs. I hate winning/losing to a bug.

Announcement:
I decided that tournament will start on August 11th.
Signup deadline is August 9th.
I'll post matchups on August 10th.

Sugestion:
If less then 8 players sign up, we could battle on 2 wins for every match. Post here if you like this idea.

Too bad only 5 players signed. I tought in somewhat larger scale.
Nonethless, we start in 2 days and there's whole one day for others to sign up.

I made a draw with the help of Rnd() function.
Neithan and Kratos are highest on list so they are seeded and will wait one round for opponents.

Gecko - Decoder
Spiro - Abyssion
Kratos (2)

If you play under different nick then stated here, post here so i can find it on the server list.
First player must make challange (so he'll be on the left side of the battlefield)
Second player chooses a map.
Play only one game.

To avoid any confusion:
1. Talk to your opponent in this thread or PM him and find the time when both are available.
2. In your UFO2000 folder there is .ini file where you must change your nick to [X]YourNick - that way i can find results on server.
3. Crush your opponent on the battlefield and brag here. (I'll check this on server)
4. Wait for next round and repeat from step 1

Isnt enough support for a tournement to last.

even w/ a few very deticated players it doesnt seem to be working.


Best bet is to somehow create a time where a lot of people are on at the same time.
Almost impossible to do.
