red knight Posted April 7, 2003 Report Share Posted April 7, 2003 Hi everybody, i had been testing the Wave Sound Streamer in the engine and Sound Support is going in the right lane (the only thing left is implement the Ogg Vorbis Sound Streamer)... I put the request so that everyone that it is working in Geoscape music can post its work to include it in the latest release... Raven Squad: "Darkness Within" is already noted for geoscape... red knight Posted April 11, 2003 Author Report Share Posted April 11, 2003 If you want i can crossfade more tracks, but that will take a little more time... the point is to test in other machines the ogg streamer and sound support (any tune will work)... but if everybody think so i can write a little more extra code... What i think... Release often is my lemma... About that i have only left Basic Collision Detection implementation... after that i can release the engine... i prefer to finish that instead of adding up things.... Its project's members call... I am in my father's house now... and trying to deinstall an spyware the internet connection was killed (in the socket level)... so i had to reinstall the OS and everything... the VERY BAD NEWS IS: I left my copy of the compiler in my home (700 Km away)... so until i get a new copy i cannot compile the source. Ad-ware is good program for that http://www.lavasoft.de (everybody of course knows that). Just remeber to patch it frequently. Xcen yeah i know how do you feel. Just remeber to patch it frequently.In fact i had run Lavasoft Ad-Aware but there was an spyware which killed Winsock. I couldnt even execute a ping to localhost...
