Cocos (Keeling) Islands

The islands were discovered in 1609, but remained uninhabited until the 19th century. Annexed by the UK in 1857, they were transferred to the Australian Government in 1955. The population on the two inhabited islands is split between the mostly Europeans on West Island and the Malays on Home Island.

Micah, i think I know the problem now...

When you type your tables like this:

<table>

<tr>

<td>

blahar

</td>

</tr>

</table>

It automatically adds <br />:s for each linebreak you've done typing it. And <br />:s inbetween table elements is regarded as being outside (before), hence the huge whitespace.

Dont mind about the white space, doesnt take long to load nothing. If you can fix it though, great.

An up to date version would be nice, just cos im curious.

All of June isn't recent enough for you? :P Wait a little while

For the interested folks among us, you can look at the stats (realtime!) now on your own. Starting at www.xcomufo.com, in the menu bar, click on the hit counter. Another window will open and you can see xcomufo's stats back to Sept. 2002. I guess I won't have to post any more country stats in this thread anymore...

But thats not as fun, it's easier for people to comment on the lists if you post them here :)

This is part of the problem. To get tables to look correctly, you must select "HTML - On Raw Linebreak Mode" from the post options, not "HTML On - Auto Linebreak Mode". This ignores the unintended linebreaks in the HTML code. Suppose you could delete the linebreaks and make it a gigantic run-on table, but that is hard to read. The tables are fixed now, not that it matters anymore. LOL
