[NKF]
But just for the benefit of those who can't be bothered searching: Any Dos version of the game You can disable the midi music output by either: 1. Going to the game setup and setting music output to no-sound. 2. While in the game, use the - or + to raise or lower the volume of midi output. Doesn't exactly switch it off, but it lowers the volume so that you cannot hear it. Windows version (1.4CE) 1. Go to Windows volume control and disable (use the check box) or lower synth/midi output. That's the little speaker icon on your task tray (yellow or black speaker). Switch it on later if you have other programs that use midi files. 2. Get a bunch of silent midi files and overwrite the midi files in the game's music folder. Kind of a cheat, but it will let you play Winamp, Modplug or whatever other player you want to use in the background! - NKF
