The plan is to get everything polished into an English version, but when it comes time for translation to french and other languages we'd certainly like your help. In fact, most of the translation would happen in the creative text department, so you could work with them on translating up front. The main concern is if something has to be changed to fit in the game, you'd have to change your version as well.

There's certainly nothing wrong with translating finished text, when we're done we'd be most of the way done with a translation. The other aspect is buttons and controls text. You could take a look at the concept screens posted off the main menu on the home page, and present the translated versions in the laboratory thread so we can determine if there's room for the different words. You can just open each screen in a paint program and insert the french text over the original to try it out.

Even if it is not planned in V1, we, programmers, cetainly aware about translations issues and trying to provide implementation which would allow implementation of translation less painfully later.

There will be multiple languages and there will be an announcement when we will be ready to accept translations, as well as the translation process description.
