A Twist To The Last Mission

Here's a short description:
scout report that the main alien base on mar is so heavily reniforced, it would require firepower equal to that of a 50 alien battleship to break through.
Since obviously we can't use pure force, we have two option:

Using captured alien ship: our scientist believe that, controling a modified alien ship, a team of x-com agent would be able to sneak into a alien base. but it require that a alien ship be captured unharmed, as our lack the knowlegde to repair it.
Requirement: a capture INTACT alienship, a research to find out how to modified it, and finally to actually modified i.
You can use any thing from a small scout to the battleship, although a battleship will be able to hold more agents.
Using this method will land you inside the alien base from the start (no need for surface mission), although the agents will be surrounded by alien :hammer:

Putting stealth technology: by using furthar research, scienist believe it is possible to equip our avenger will a stealth unit to allow it to sneak pass the defenses.
Requirement: a research on alien senors (something I made up), a research on stealth unit, and a avenger. ( the game will automaticly equip it for you).
The mission setup will end up like the original.

Well some kind of twist could be implemented but I think we still need to use avenger to get to the mars. (Deimos has worked his a-s-s off to make a scene where avenger flies to mars so I think we probably need to use that :D )
Could be nice to make the first mission somehow different. Like -> Destroy the shield generator to get in the base or something.

Wouldn't the aliens get suspicious when Battleship 117's crew sends a terse message "We're under attack!" and then after a large amount of time later, Battleship 117 just kind of shows up at cydonia?

We can make Cydonia a three (or four!) part mission! :)

Makes sense to me. Open up the hangar doors! :)

What if two squads were needed to do the last mission(s)? Like in FF6, squad 1 would do an event to allow squad 2 to advance. Like, squad 1 needs to blow up the shield generators, and squad two needs to dash to the overmind before he launches a fatal fleet at Earth.

Uhmmm... the fact that I'm fighting for mankind and sacrificing those rookies gives my SPADS (special assault & destroying squad ^_^ ) a better chance at utterly defeating those evil aliens thus saving mankind (well, at least up to the ensuing world war to make out who's the boss now, which is, of course, won by yours truly here :naughty: )
