Thinking about firing up Xcom again. Noticed the latest version of xcomutil is 9. something and also that it is only for the Windows versions of Xcom. I still have the DOS versions (and xcomutil 7.0). Anyone know how I could get the lastest (last?) version of xcomutil for DOS.

I think I'm running the latest version of XcomUtil on my DOS version of XCOM....

Try it, I don't think it will screw anything up

The latest XComutil is still a dos-compatible executable. Everything should be fine. It just comes packaged with a few extras for running it with the Collectors Edition for Windows.

There are a rew Java based components that will only run if your enviroment includes java. so thoes runing it under linux or windows no mater the game version will get thoes features. If your runing xcusetup in dosbox then it just skips the setup for thoes components.
Combat is very simple, there is a first place and second place, second place is laying face down in the mud, sometimes, so is first place.
