T-1 Posted November 26, 2005 Report Share Posted November 26, 2005 I downloaded the stable x86 linux binary, and copied my UFO files over into the XCOM directory, then I tryed clicking on connect to server, then I tryed connecting to lxnt.info, and I got an error message that said "Failed to connect to UFO2000 server". I read something in the readme that briefly mentioned "registration" but it wasn't very clear. Maybe that's what I'm doing wrong? Anyway, a hotseat game worked fine, but I wouldn't have anyone to play against. So, I wish to connect to the server. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Registration is not needed anymore, the server has changed since that time a bit, you just need to enter a unique login/password and you will be registered automatically (but don't forget the password, otherwise the game will not let you in next time ).
