Circumvention Research Tree bugs

Okay, so I noticed a lot of research options are gone without me having researched it. Apparently there are a lot more research bugs than just those one help/faq of this site. Which obviously sucks donkey, for I would have to restart the game all over again, and I'm completely not in the mood for that.

So I found the following site: http://paralight.ru/xcom/

Except that it doesn't work. Clicking "get project.dat" produces a "can't find project.dat on server" message and it does nothing.

Does anyone have another way (or a working link) to get around these bugs?

Can you post a copy of your broken saved game folder? and tell me what specifically is not working?

Besides me there are a number of us that have the knowhow to fix a broken file.

Can you post a copy of your broken saved game folder? and tell me what specifically is not working?

Besides me there are a number of us that have the knowhow to fix a broken file.

Here's the save game folder. The things I know should be there, but aren't anymore are: MC Reader, Alien Sub Construction, Magnetic Navigation, Alien Cryogenics, and Alien Cloning.

I was able to do most of the research from your saved game.

MC Reader. Research the Deep One Terrorist you have > MC Lab > MC Reader.

(Asumeing you have V2.0 or v2.1)
Magnetic Navigation > Transmission Resolver > Alien Sub Construction

(v1.0)
Lobster Man Navigator > Magnetic Navigation > Transmission Resolver > Alien Sub Construction

Alien Cryogenics and Alien Cloning have to be in your stores to be available. if they disappeared it's because you sold them. Once I added them in it worked fine.

Just to replicate what that website does I'm thinking of making a command line app that you can give the research index to and it will make the research available (still would require items)

That can't work. All the sites I've been to says, you must research MC reader before the MC Lab or you can't research the reader anymore. You can research the MC Disruptor after you get the MC Lab. You sure you're not mixing them up?

Magnetic Navigation > Transmission Resolver > Alien Sub Construction


That's hard to do, as I can't research Magnetic Navigation, despite the fact I have one of them in my inventory.

Do you know what version you have? The save isn't corrupt as I successfully researched everything. The only reason you would not be able to research the Mag-Nav is if you have version 1.0. or your game is corrupted.

The MC Reader must be in stock before you finish the MC Lab. Research Tree for Version 2.0

Below is the differences between the 1.0 and 2.x research trees for Mag-Nav.

It's got to be v2 or v2.1. Magnetic Navigation has been in the research list, I know that for certain. I chose to research something else. Then it was gone all of a sudden.

In the version I have, Magnetic Navigation will be researched only after I research Lobsterman Navigator.
Perhaps to keep the progress on the slow side, to prevent you from getting best stuff too quickly.
I am able to research MC Reader once I get one from a terror site....or maybe after I finished the live Deep-One, but for sure I always must tell myself "Don't sell the MC Reader yet, no matter how low on cash I am". Once I start the research project "MC Reader" it can be sold.
MC Lab happens right after I succesfully research a live Deep-One. If I research another live Deep-One and I previously finished the Ion Beam Accelerator, I even get Ion Armor. So from the terror site I always make sure I have: 2 live Deep-One, 1 dead Deep One (for aqua plastics) and an MC Reader
