Just wondering whether character encoding has been a strange for people ever since the forums got messed up. Certain characters, particularly apostrophes, become garbage characters, like ’. Another example would be the Cafe forum; on my browser, it appears as The Café.

I can't tell whether it's something to do with my computer, or with the Xenocide site. Even if it's my computer, does anyone have a solution to this problem? It's driving me nuts!

Strange characters happened because of the upgrade to the new version of the forum software. I haven't found any fixes at Invision yet, so the only option at this point is to edit the affected areas by hand. The Cafe is especially messed up due to special characters already in-place when the upgrade took place. Again, hand tweaking may be the only way to solve this. :wink1:

Well, that's reassuring; I thought I majorly borked up my computer or something. :P I hope it doesn't come to hand-tweaking, Zombie, but I'd be willing to help with the the unlocked CTD topics... nothing a "few" copy/global replace/pastes can't fix. :)
