It's pretty much an ambient "main menu" type thing, obviously based around military style music. If everyone seems fine with it, I'll go through with it more, make the snare line less repetative, give it a fuller sound, actually turn it into something. So yes, comment. And if you do approve, I already have some ideas as to where I'd take it. Anyway, grab it from here. Edit: If I should post this sort of thing as a new topic elsewhere, let me know. ATeX Posted February 1, 2004 Report Share Posted February 1, 2004 first of all: move this to a new topic then 1 - quantize your snares, because it's out of rythm2 - put an orchestration to it: one voice is really too thin3 - try to make it more scary (in the context of xenocide) we're not in world war 2 here where private ryan has to be saved. It's all about mad aliens overtaking the planet... and most of all: have fun with it, because then the inspiration comes like nothing else :wink: good luck! Got what I needed to know out of it though, so it served its purpose. Thanks, I'll try and get some other concepts going to allow for creepiness and such. After listening to that the day after it sounded absolutely horrible to me. Made me feel something like this. :crying: I will come up with something for the menu at some point.
