Geoscape Gameplay Options

See my post in this thread about option panels.

 

Here, lets discuss what Geoscape gameplay options we will be providing and what not. This will define what controls we would need to have on the panel.

I assume also, that each scape will have its own gameplay options and will have separate settings/panels for different scapes.

My first thought is that all the various gameplay options could be handled in one dialog box, using dividers between geoscape, battlescape, baseview, etc. It would just be called 'Gameplay Options'.

 

As to what options to include, your two samples are good ones, but none of the optional features have been voted on by the senior staff that I'm aware of. So we'd probably need to discuss in that forum first to decide what's feasible for v1, and then determine which features would be activated as an option.

 

Once these optional features have been decided on, we can come back to this particular panel, for now I suggest doing it last.

I agree with both your proposal:

 

1) Lets discuss options first.

2) Lets design panel when options are finalized.

 

As to have them on one panel, I guess it will depend on the number of options: to few or to many will look equally unpleasant.
