I've spent a good hour looking around to see if there was a solution to the game scrolling waaay too fast. I've tried various fixes, including Turbo, but nothing has worked. I have the scroll speed set to "1" in the game, and I'm hoping for a better solution than "play on a slower computer." Is there still no fix for this long-standing issue? I've heard that running the old DOS version under DOXBox works, but I'm hoping to find a solution for the Windows version.

Have you tried the MoSlo program? Or another one that will slow things?

I tried a program called Turbo, which I saw several people mention. It didn't work, even when turning the speed down to 5%. Perhaps it has issues with dual-core processors, I don't know.

Maybe turning down hardware acceleration or something, that's a long shot, however.

Did you try the ET patch?

No, I had only tried f0dder's patch. But after trying the ET patch, it has solved the problem of the mouse going too fast. The downside is that I have to disable hardware acceleration to play again, but that's a small price to pay. Thank you!
