Jennifer
Hi, Its been like ages ago eversince I have played X-Com 'Apocalypse' .. now I have a slightly better computer instead of my 486 something ??Anyway .. I've installed it .. it runs perfectly well .. UNTIL .. I get to enter a building with my squaddies, and then it just reboots on me. Does it everytime. Is there a remidy for this. Since I would hate to just throw away the CD-Rom because I cant play it anymore. Hope anyone has an answer.Thx. ~Jen.
Anglachel
hmmmm, did you check the download page, there might be some patches or fixes there, I would have to check. At least yours runs, my sound card is not listed on Apoc so it will not fully load, crashes for some reason. And I refuse to play without sound, takes to much away from the game, or until I start to suffer from withdrawl. EDIT: Here is the link. Beleive me Jen you are among the luckiest people like some of us here. Alot have had trouble with Xcom, some had the same problems u had and others had problems with the mouse in XP(too slow) and some cant even run the game in xp.. APOC has extreme problems. i guess thats why we dont have alot of apoc players.congrats on the moves you did to made it work :happybanana:
