Names For My Teammates

I had a utility for the first X-Com that lets you rename your teammates and change their genders and appearances.

Since I ended up with enough of them, I named my agents as the members of S.T.A.R.S. from the Resident Evil series and gave them appropriate genders and appearances. Whoever I had left over, I named after the teammates from the demo of Enemy Unkown, which was on the Dragonsphere CD among around 20 other demos. (Literally!)

I did the same thing for TFTD: They got the names, genders, and appearances of the squad from the demo, which was also on the Dragonsphere CD.

The Members of S.T.A.R.S.:

Jill Valentine

Albert Wesker

Brad Vickers

Chris Redfield

Barry Burton

Rebecaa Chambers

There were others, but I didn't use them all.

This was also the Windows 95 version of Enemy Unknown, so I swapped out the original midi for the battlescape with a midi of "The Beginning of the Nightmare" from Resident Evil 3. (The song that plays when Jill explodes out of the building at the beginning of the game.)

Enemy Unkown Demo Version Agents:

Manfred Geisler

Paul Newman (The guy who makes salad dressings now fights a war against aliens?)

Sylvie Lecionte

Manfred Unger

Evelyn Nash

Ed Carr

There were two others before Evelyn, but I don't remember who.

TFTD Demo Version Aquanauts:

Edward Smillie

Rudi Mederow

Again, many others, but I don't remember who.

Does anyobdy know who else was in the demos? I don't have the CD the demos were on anymore.

If you want to know who is in the demo, why not download them from StrategyCore's files section (in the "other" category). ;)

Wait, were you successful in getting JL Enterprises' editor to actually edit? Would you care to give me the step-by-step tips on how you got it running? After I enter the code (you know, the code which the author says "you wouldn't mind entering this little code now would you", and then move my mouse inside the box to click OK, it creates some strange characters and will not accept any clicks by the mouse to continue. :(

I've never had that problem (or I don't remember), so I don't know how to fix that.
