Take your time and submit a name to the Names Database.

I am sorta amazed at all the interest X-Com still generates...

In any case, you would think all the other projects would eventually assimilate to us, as we are The Borg. All your base are belong to us.

me too - it seems like a lot of people still like X-Com, even today.

I don't know if everyone will assimilate with Xenocide, you've just got the most subscribers, if it was down to code complete - UFO:AI would assimilate us all.

anyway, I'm having fun doing Talon, and that's what's important, innit?

This is a really, really old topic! :D

People fail to realize that UFO:AI, while it is a great game, will not be the same as Xcom. The gameplay mechanics are different. Xenocide will be what fans have clamored for, Xcom with better graphics.

Talon is stilll active? That's good news.
I'm only partially inactive. :P I can still be reached at cpl.facehugger@gmail.com, and via PM. Preferably the former.

Well Talon is still active, but since there a very few subsccribers in the forums so progress will be slow compared to the 2000 people you have here
But progress is done no matter the number of people
Hope some poeple from here finally migrate over there maybe they can give a little hand :)
