First of all you'd be nigh immune to a psi attack because once you get mind controlled, the alien would be completely disoriented by the mental feedback for the duration. You on the otherh and would sober up and probably be fresh as a daisy. In fact might even be in a mild state of knurd, which actually might be a bit more disturbing. So they'll be feeling what their sloshed puppet is feeling. So while the alien is thinking its drunk, the soldier will be momentarily free of control. Confusion all around!
