Extralucas
Ok, I've got my Apoc working almost 100%. I've got movies (thanx to J'ordos!), and I've got sounds. Only thing I don't have are music files so I guess that's what I'm asking you to help me with. Does anyone know where the music files can be found? j'ordos
Wouldn't it have gone faster if you just downloaded the entire game at once again Hang on, I'll check how big they are (although, there really is no point in downloading them IMHO, it's not like you're getting some brilliant background music ) Can't seem to find my disk atm, that's another reason you wouldn't want it, you'll need to insert a cd every time Edited September 15, 2003 by j'ordos
Extralucas
I downloaded game from two different sources (I guess) and both were incomplete. But if you say I need CD to get the music then I'll just pass I guess.
BurnThemALL
I read here in the technical section that it's enough to put the music files into the XCom DIR.And I have to disagree with j'ordos: The music is brilliant and does much to provide the right atmosphere for the game! You have to install the music files Extralucas! I checked the size of the music"Music" 297MB big and it's on the root DIR of the original CD. Good luck!
j'ordos
Well, no, I just remembered this here: http://www.xcomufo.com/forums//index.php?s...?showtopic=1689Check the last post, that explains how you can do it without cd (but I still haven't found mine, so I don't know how big those files are... yet) edit: oh, seems like BTA beat me to it... BURN HIM!!! Give him a taste of his own device Edited September 15, 2003 by j'ordos
Extralucas
297 MB is way too much for me. Let's just forgot about that . Now comes this tough decision... Delete that or leave it here?
BurnThemALL
j'ordos! Extralucas, you could let it download over night, trust me - when you played and burned aliens with XCOM music, you won't miss it anymore. :happybanana:

BurnThemALL
Well I could burn :flame:  the music file on a CD and send it to you, where do you live? I don't think that paying the shipment would throw me into bancruptcy.
j'ordos
I don't know, sending an envelope to Cydonia can turn out to be pretty costly. When's the next NASA mission to Mars? besides, you could just copy the original disk then, much easier Edited September 15, 2003 by j'ordos

BurnThemALL
BurnThemALL is always serious! Just send me a PM where you live and I'll see how much shipment would be, assuming it's in europe or at least on this planet. The full game wouldn't be too funny for you because it's the german version, just PM me what you would like me to do. XCOM agents have to stick together in hard times! j'ordos
The music file is around 297 MB, so you'll need a (quite) large server to upload it... Edited September 16, 2003 by j'ordos
[[Micah]]
You can get the CD for $7.50 here: http://www.free-cdsoftware.com/SKU-APOCAL? That's cheap. I would charge you more than that to upload the music files to a server for you to download.
