No Homepage Update

Theres work that has been done, versions of the game have been released... but all the work is done at either the forums, or the task tracker. The homepage is as good as abandoned, Azrael havn't posted any news, and no pictures have been posted. The media section is outdated by years (and so are the art asset list, BTW).

I think it's about time it's updated. I'd help, but my time is pretty limited with the Exam, but i'll be happy to help in the summer vecation. It just needs an update, because 90% doesn't bother to check the forums, and as such, they wouldn't be able to find any never version of Xenocide then the one posted in the news, which is 3-4 versions old.

Just voicing my opinion here. :)

I agree !!!!

I think that hompage update should be top prority for all of us. Especially the download and art sections !

The Senior team is working on a new means for updating the news more easily, including downloads and screenshots. Don't worry, nobody has forgotten about the news :)

Azrael ask Mindstormmaster to get the html files and edit them instead of relaying on the automatic system that we are looking into while it is being developed.

Hearing that the homepage updating is nice to hear because I don't know what version is the latest for Xenocide. I can't run it anyway, but when I can, I would like to download it from the homepage where I know when it has been updated. I wish I can run this game because it looks so tempting to play with its good graphics and all. The only thing I can run is UFO Alien Invasion, UFO2000, and other games that don't require a 3d accelerator card. I would like to get into this project Xenocide and be a memeber possibly. First I will have to get my computer to be able to use more 3d stuff though...3d art programs, the programming language that it runs, hardware, etc...Any references on software I would need? (programming language, 3d artwork, etc.)

The news have been updated, I'll try to update screenshots and downloads as well.

Updated the Downloads page, added PR489 along with its features, also added the previous progress releases, updated system requirements, updated the link leading to the FAQ in the Docs Site, the FAQ link on the main site is something I cannot fix.
