Zombie: Empirical data's your only man, when formulating a research plan.
A soldier's death is never in vain if it makes the formula more plain.
A few dozen make a better case for refining that third decimal place.
They call me Zombie because I don't sleep, as I slowly struggle to climb this heap,
of corpses, data points, and trials, but from the top - I'll see for miles!

Indeed, it is a full turn-based game. And battle damage should be realistic with fully destructible terrain (take out enough supports and a building will collapse).Wow! That does look very good, if it is turn based I'm definately going to have to buy it! I hope that the battle damage is realistic as well.
Well, you have to realize that the battles take place on a planet called Esperanza - not Earth. Hence, the colors are going to be different anyway. Another reason is the fact that they use colored shading to denote the different funding areas. See this pic.The color pallete is a little too cartoonish for my taste, but thats a small complaint. Their globe doesn't really do it for me like Xenocide's does
either.
I am always under the impression that any X-COM type game which comes out will only create more interest in the series as a whole - this includes games in development such as Xenocide. Truth be told, UFO: ET is not exactly an X-COM game, but it should come close. If anything, it will temporarily fill that niche in the market until a true remake is released.I wonder what the fate of Xenocide will be in the face of this?

Everytime I'm confused by this screenshot. These aliens holding such BIG guns in ONE(!) hand! Maybe they took some steroids or smth... And postures of human soldiers look not so realistic for me...
btw, there is no screenshots where we can see the _destructable_ terrain.
