SupSuper
sorry about that, but i can't figure out what CVS is and how to use it (more exactly, how to get its content in my hdd), nor what Sourceforge.net is. i've got as far as downloading WinCVS, nothing more. i am simply and utterly confused.http://members.lycos.co.uk/tcfwg/argue.gif Edited September 19, 2003 by SupSuper
mamutas
this link has a great step-by-step instructions on how to setup your WinCVS.You do not need to be a developer to extract your code out, so you can concentrate on 'anonymous' part. SupSuper
i've set up WinCVS right, but now how do i give it commands? in other words how do i do the checkout of everything in the CVS?
red knight
From WinCVS just click on checkout, configure the thing exactly how it sais in sourceforge (www.sourceforge.net/projects/xenocide or something like that) and checkout the 3 modules. xenoengine, utility and examples (25Mb more or less)... And get the devpack GreetingsRed Knight
SupSuper
http://members.lycos.co.uk/tcfwg/cvs1.gif this are my settings (exactly like sourceforge.net stated):http://members.lycos.co.uk/tcfwg/cvs2.gif any help? i'm guessing that CVS doesn't like me. edit: nm, i tried it again later today and it worked must've been some problem with sourceforge.net at that time Edited September 19, 2003 by SupSuper
