Mark0 Posted June 5, 2003 Report Share Posted June 5, 2003 im talkin about the real superhuman( the one of the CE).GOD!!end of january 1999 base under attack !like is that. its too much, its too early. mind control was used. i died easely.i loaded the game before the base attack. saved and cheated, added 3 fusion +grav shield. from end of january to end of february NONE STOP ATTACKS!!!!i couldnt put 5 secs it was on 1 day so days are flyign quickly ,ship attack..destroyed,press Ok and the 1 day is still activeits kinda impossible!i kind of destroyed 10-15 very large attacking the base.I think its kinda exagerated.none stop attacking vessels...damn suiciders! Seriously i dont mind getting base attacks. but i cheat because my game crash only when im defending the base so it ruins the time i have spent on the game . i dont feal like screwing the game now.THats the only cheat i do, the rest is serious. talkin about serious, i just came back from a terror site . It was night and once the aliens saw my skyranger ...i was screwed. for 5 freakin turns a floater came at an exact spot and shot inside my skyranger,i kill it,next turn a second one comes to the exact spot and shot inside.in 2 turns,i lost 2 out of 5 soldiers. so everyone ran to the front of the plane,then slowly advanced and killed floaters and sometimes those damn floaters take 2-3 shots of rifles to die..luckely i had autocannon with HE ammo, i managed to kill reapers. i survived this terror site with 1 soldier :Henri Bouton conclusion... DAMN THIS IS HARD!!!.. but i love it a good chalenge! except for none stop raiding vessels! if u have any SuperHuman games.. give up some tips on startups! You had bad luck, most of the times they don't attack right away. Now you're wondering why they attack all the time about every 1-2 hours gametime? I have notised the same thing and came to this conqlusion. If you DON'T make defense to your base, they attack, probably you win (4tanks and 20men in base waiting with laser rifles) and they leave you alone for a month or two. But if you MAKE defense, the ufo is destroyed and they continue sending the battleships to attack as long as they finally with huge luck get to the base and then they leave you alone again for few months. This is a proven fact, so if you don't dismantle your base defenses, they will keep coming again and again and it's REALLY annoying, but nothing compared to it when you have these hopeless battleships trying to get in three of your bases at the same time, then the time is going REALLY slow 'cause all the time is wasted to the "fusion defense - firing - hit..." screens.. So my advice is, recruit 20 men and keep 4 tanks in base for defense all the time and dismantle all defenses.. They attack time to time but you'll win and get stuff and that annoying time wasting base attack screen stops coming every 5 seconds. Just remember, on the Collectors' Edition it gets really tough. The first month, HOLY MOTHER OF COW it's tough, and it's the same all the way through. Anyways, have fun with it! Mark0 Posted November 6, 2003 Author Report Share Posted November 6, 2003 i can't finish a super human game.well its not that i suck but my game dies when they attack my base. i allways get the save game corrupt and cant continue. i once cheated the start by adding fusion defence, like that they wont attack me but it wasnt a good idea. once a very large attack, they will never stop till they get in. With 4 fusion and a grav shield.. they were dreaming and attacks never ended. i then started a new game and added a mind shield. X-Clu-Zif Posted November 27, 2003 Report Share Posted November 27, 2003 Yeah I have beaten the CE edition on SuperHuman once, and going on my second, the trick is to be able to kill them all the first time they attack your base, and they won't do it for a couple of months, and by that time you'll have good enough men and equipment to do it easily (of course with that base bug thingie it's kinda hard)... Another good thing about SH is that you never need money, since you always get so many freaking weapons and stuff that you can sell... And before playing SH I never knew a floater commander could take 5 laser rifle shoots and only faint... just happend on my last mission... but then again I got another commander... not that I need him, but hey... Since most of you load your game after each human death (or at each mission loss at least) How can it be possible to lose?? I never cheat at x-com and I have finished superhuman many times (both x-com 1 AND x-com 2. Apoc I finished as normal or something) In most of the games I lose at least 2-3 skyrangers with whole squads and still rise as a winner at the end. The beauty of x-com is the fact that your game doesn't end if you screw up few missions or get few times terrible funding or lose 5 countrys to alien side..
