I'm running a 98SE PC at 350mhz, and for some reason, whenever I try to run Overkill it goes full-screen and locks up my entire PC's screen. I really want a weapon editor that works... if someone could make one, I would -really- be grateful. It is -incredibly- annoying that it refuses to work and instead of crashing, locks up my entire PC.
I can see the vague "might-be menu" of dots along the top of my screen... I'm wondering if it might be a resolution problem or something. =/

Get Dosbox from the Dosbox homepage, run overkill using that, and it will work. Overkill can't make the "extra" weapons do actual damage or change how to get them however (I think, anyone want to enlighten me?).
Wahey! I can actually post again. Or maybe it's just here... =/

And what precisely do you want to change?

Don't worry - it's already working. But a slightly more powerful editor might be useful (a Windows compatible one, preferably with at least a basic GUI) - not just damage, fire rate, accuracy, clip count and damage type, but maybe what ammo a weapon uses, or whether it auto-recharges, etc. etc.
Don't do it if you can't spare the time, but if you can, a more powerful weapon editor would be nice.
