I already installed the patch on the official website xcom2.fix end run it... but the game works so damn slow that it is impossible to play!OS: Win XPThe Game can not be run without the patch, because it doesnt start...I also have the problem with 1st UFO game.. the game works without the patch good, but there are still somes bugs (transfer crash etc..)If i run the game with th epatch, it also works very slow!!!!What can I do against this problem?I still did not find anything about this problem. If I try the xcomloader the game shut down and a message tellst me "Patch timed out" or something like that.. and i really dont know what ET version is The program wich schould make the game faster doesnt help me.. it still lags...the sound maks a "CHhrrr" sound if any soundfile starts...Thats not funny best regards,sephy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

j'ordos Posted August 9, 2005 Report Share Posted August 9, 2005 Check the "SOUND" folder to see if there are any midi files in there. Also, pressing '+' in the geoscape raises the volume I believe, maybe it's stuck at 0 or something. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
