I know that the idea of humans being able to drive vehicles has been discussed before, but what about aliens? Between cyber disks, reapers, and sectopods, the aliens have the makings of a potentially lethal cavalry. The Cyberdisk at the very least really ought to have a seat for a sectoid in the top. It'd be toasted sectoid all around once the disk blew up, but it'd be pretty funny to see the sectoid riding it like a bronco right into your squad.

Or, when you research the right tech, you can ride the Cyberdisk yourself.
"Xao, attack these humans!"
"What's going on there?!"
"Well, it's <ahem> <talking like a sectoid> it's done. All humans are dead. Where are you?"
"You've got a strange noise Xao."
"Oh, I've got a bad cold."
"You need medical help. We're here, at these houses."
"Look Sir, what's this? a Cyberdisk. Xao is returning"
"Hey! You're not XaoAAAAAAAAAAARGH"
