Aliens Vs Cybrids

OK guys, this pool is for the guys who has played Earthsiege I, II, or Starsiege (including tribes). It`s about how would it be a match of cybrids (intelligent machines, as Giant Mechs or Hers) vs Aliens.

 

I will put some photos of them, just to inform you.

These are Cybrids mechs... they also have fleet, but i couldn`t find images on the web. Enjoy XD

I've never played the game before, so I don't know these chaps from a bar of soap. But my first impression was that the Sectopod's got a pretty impressive extended family!

 

But I've always loved robots (and since entering the working force, am almost on the way to converting my living space into a shrine for robot toys), so I'd probably pick the Cybrids, not on their merits in combat or their special abilities, I'd pick them "just because".

 

So there's my no-answer answer.

Cybrids have shields and tons of weapons. I vote for Cybrids.

Picked aliens simply due to the arguements of mind control, and the arguements of fire.

 

..Now that I think about it I want to remove my choice :\

I do not know if their brains are organic or not, but if they are then Aliens still for the mind control of their own units.

Otherwise.. fire wouldnt be very effective either..

 

But on the PLUS side, Aliens have very powerful ships, although they are indeed organic, which means biochemical weapons could be a problem..

 

 

Gee, if I had actually played the game I might have a better idea ^^'...

Apocalypse's aliens have organic ships (and I think the Interceptor aliens decided to use that trend as well) - UFO and TFTD aliens on the other hand have cold hard alloys (UFO) and plastic (TFTD).

 

That about covers mineral and vegetable - we can only hope they'll decide on animal UFOs before long.

I`m really sad and blue and actually regret to inform you NRN_R_Sumo1, than Cybrids are Mechanichs with no organic Brain. Sorry, MC tricks will be really useless this time. Moreover, Cybrids RAD cannons would burn aliens into nothing but rubble (Furthermore, most aliens are organic).

 

Plasma technology is also know (and old) for cybrids as well as P Beams, Nano infusers and Blink Guns (that may damage the very internal components of any machine). To tell the truth, without aerial support i see Cybrids crushin` aliens as old bread... sorry... XD

1. Psyonics (the most potent alien ability imo) would have no effect on the NEXT.

 

2. Aliens are dependant on harvesting organs from lifeforms; Cybrids can thrive anywhere with raw materials.

 

3. Cybrids still waged war after <Giver-of-Will> was OFFLINE//BURST; aliens didn't.
