This is my first attempt at sound fx creation so listen at your own peril!
Let me know what you think. How could I make it better? I included a few versions of the same sound so you could get an idea of where I was coming from.

Criticism is welcome.

Post it in here cause Geocities do not let you get it if they are not accessed from your page in there.

not bad. i prefer sound no. 2d :)
i don't think there's any point on having sound effects on OGG format, since they're already small on WAV.

too bad, now you will never know the ancient secrets of supsupers long gone avatar ;)

The reason we're using ogg Sup, is because its open source and the engine will be using it.

for people working on sounds though its best to compress them at the last moment. if you have to edit them for some reason (eg. they aren't normalized  ) then recompress them you loose alot of quality. saying that, i should probably make ogg versions to post since they're so small.

those sounds are pretty good anyway.

ok heres my latest addition on this line of sounds.
Sorry I haven't contributed much lately. I've just been goin crazy with school and work. You know how it is! :noway:

Anyways, I'll be playing with this sound quite a bit and hopefully I'll be able to create a whole suite of beam weapon sounds with it.
