having all these great fan-made freeware games, what is the one you are watching the closest and for what reasons? Where are the advantages/disadvantages of each of these games?
so far I have tested:
-ufo2000 (really good for LAN)
-x-force (the most interesting in my oppinion, because the most finished, but unfortunately no multiplayer yet)
- ufo ai (the best graphics and coop-play!!!)
- xenocide (nothing much here, and I have this "no globe bug")
so did I miss some? what are your favourites?

UFO 2000: Meh. It's basically email Xcom using the internet or a LAN instead of email. Plus it still uses the same everything as the original.
X-Force: It's complicated. I don't really understand the interface too well. Other than that, it's decent though.
Ufo: AI: Pretty good. Nice and simple. Haven't played it recently though, so I'm not sure if they're still on a demo or what.
Xenocide: Work in Progress. But when it's done, it will put all the above to shame.

My opinion on Xenocide: what he said.
As for the others, more precisely, I have to say that UFO2000 is the best. It's just incredible fun, and my best friend and I just get a total kick out of hotseat (though she's a dirty cheater
). Here's hoping the geniuses behind it don't let up.
