Cpl. Facehugger
And have high health. Not lobster health, but still... (Ingame they are green with a large brown fin on their backs. They usually carry sonic cannons and other nasty weapons.)
j'ordos
They usually carry sonic cannons and other nasty weaponsThis isn't really a very good item to discern different aliens on. They ALL use sonic cannons and other nasty weapons edit: ok, so the terror units don't. I meant the regular alien races Edited June 16, 2004 by j'ordos
[NKF]
Or, just imagine eels with arms and legs. Green is as good as any description, just imagine something that's not a gill-man or an aquatoid. When the psi attacks really start hammering your troops, you'll know you've met them. Even a lowly Tasoth soldier can use mind attacks on you. They've got impressive stats, but they haven't got the 1/2 damage modifier the lobstermen have, and, I mean this with absolute honesty, can be killed with a weapon as low as the gauss pistol (full auto, in the back, one tile away, of course). Doh, hang on, if you really want to meet them, you'll always meet a whole horde of them on the first level of an alien colony. There'll also be some aquatoid, tentaculats and hallucinoids, but there'll be lots more tasoth (mostly with disrupter pulse launchers). They're technically the guardians of the portal. - NKF
[Blehm 98]
If they move, their tails slither like snakes. And they are taller and skinnier than most other aliens, and due to the fin, are distinguishable from gillmen
Mustang
They are giant, ugly, yellow lizards that make a satisfying scream when they die. They are also the most fun to MC
Jonaleth Irenicus
They are the ugliest things on the battlefield. Even on aquatoids I can find a limited beauty. The tasoth are just plain ugly...

Lobster Dan
I always thought they were some kind of evolved sea-horse. From a certain angle they really look like that. Or is it just me? I got it stuck in my head at one point and now I can't see them any other way. With luck, now all of you will see them as sea-horses too!
