Pherdnut Posted March 28, 2006 Report Share Posted March 28, 2006 Seriously, these guys can handle anything, are always in ready supply, research insanely fast, and you can stack multiple grenades on lobstermen to take them out with ease. The sonic pulser blows the other grenades out of the water, pun and all due to the weight advantage (plus the armour). And they're so easy to get too. Still, the magna-pack is a cheap alternative, and the magna-blast is an ultra-cheap low-blast-area-instant-kill device for unconcious units (although I'd rather use a belt of GCHE shells, personally) My only real criticism of it is that the aliens don't use them in T'Leth. My first thought was that they didn't want to accidentally damage the great sleeper's cryo battery life support system. But that doesn't really count as the aquatoids on the first level go ballistic with pulse wave torpedoes. In any case, if you like the pulsers and want to use them in T'Leth, be ready to bring a few picnic baskets full with you. - NKF Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
