Deimos Posted March 6, 2004 Report Share Posted March 6, 2004 If its possible can we up the polycount of the Avenger as well as its gonna be in pretty tight shots and I feel the textures won't be enough. I don't think it'll need any other interior detail other than the cockpit. Don't worry about file sizes or smoothing groups, polycount or anything as detail is king on this. Deimos Posted March 6, 2004 Report Share Posted March 6, 2004 If you check out the storyboard in the Earth Mars thread that Drewid did, we're gonna need to get right in to be able to see facial expressions. Don't worry about the textures size. I enlarged them to 1024 maps when I was test rendering it. But I dropped them back down for the ISS anim as the camera didn't get that close. My point with this images was just a teaser, I'm not expecting it to go in the cutscene or game for that matter.
