Nocturnal Persona
Well, since I have my X-Com games in a different than the default directory, as the readme file says, I have to edit the .ini file, right? The point is that, I don't really know where the SAVE GAME directory is! I know where the game directory is, so is there any folder I haven't found? Also, do you have to specifiy the save games folder or just the game's directory?
j'ordos
you just have to specify the directory where you installed the game to.savegames are the folders GAME_1 - GAME_9
[[Micah]]
j'ordos is right, it only wants the main xcom directory, like:c:\program files\micrprose\x-com collector's\ufo defenseor whatever. (though in that case you'd have to enter something like: c:\progra~1\microp~1\x-comc~1\ufodef~1\ for the dos program to understand the path....) Once you have the game's main directory entered into the .ini file and you run the editor, it will display a list of all the saved games in that copy of the game. Ros
I moved my save game from Xcom1 CE ver to Xcom1 DOS ver. Each time when i try to edit my save CW Editor displays this message:[save path]\Game_X\Saveinfo.dat : Exec format errorIn CE ver everything is ok so i think save isn't corrupted. Oh, and one more thing in both versions i have XcomUtil installed.Ros
