AgentBif
Can anyone point me to a util that can extract and repack PCK files? The old XED program used to have this feature, but XED doesn't seem to work anymore ;( Thanks! bif

j'ordos
Do you mean the pck files from xcom apocalypse? In that case the utilities listed on the page Micah gave won't work. For xcom3, the only 2 I know bout are : XED, and pck manipulator... But they're both DOS-based.

I tried patching the executable using a program called ctbppatch which you recommended, but this didn't fix the problem ctbppat xed.exectbppat xed.exe /pctbppat xed.exe /brute=1024 Perhaps xed was not compiled with Borland and so the ctbppat program doesn't find the little snippet of code it's trying to patch? Can you point me to the pck manipulator program you're talking about? Thanks! bif
j'ordos
I guess it doesn't work then , I haven't tested this as XED DOES work for me . pck manipulator is available here :http://www.dwcs.net/xcom3/humans/downloads.html Edited September 10, 2003 by j'ordos
