Hey boys... what if in a VERY OCASSIONAL times... the ufos crashes and no alien survivors are detected?... (But LOTSA equipment is lost)...

Happened in TFTD sometimes. It'd say something about auto-recovery mode being initiated when your lander gets there.

yeah happens in TFTD on very smalls, usually you get a pistol a clip an alien gernade and 8 or so alloys, cant remember if you recoveer the body its rare a very small survives my interceptors unless its the first day of the month.

Should we explore the idea of weaponry that maximizes this possibility? Say, there could be lasers on wavelengths that disrupt biological life while causing minimal ship damage - death beams, if you will. The ship would of course still sustain damage from the crashlanding. Naturally there would be drawbacks, like reduced damage and range.
