Group Icon Contest

I've decided to change the size of the group icons so we'll need new ones. The new size is 20x64 pixels. The file format is gif. The groups to design for are: Xenocide Seniors, and the four departments of Xenocide. I have created icons for applicant, recruit, unassigned, inactive, banned, and ingaol. I'll look at submissions for these groups but no promises for them. I will also consider entries for New Forum Member, Duplicate Account, Validation Rejected, and Test Account; again no promises. Dont bother making entries for Administrators, Global Moderators, Moderators, Forum members, Validating, and Guest; because it ain't happening.

 

Submit your entries to this thread. You can make different submission for the same group if you want. If no particular one stands out as my favorite I'll put it to a vote.

Just to clarify, you want to increase the width of the current group icon size from 50 pixels to 64 while retaining the same height of 20 pixels, correct?

Projects aside from Xenocide could use a nifty basic project icon. It is annoying when normal members can appear as the project staff by taking ie: UFO2000's development team sig. I personally don't care what the icon would look like, however being able to tell apart from members and project staff would be helpful.

 

If you want to know our (ufo2k's) staff:

Programmers: Serge, Judeau, Nachtwolf, Twilight Owl

GFX Artists: Sporb, Nachtwolf, Nappes

Sound Artists: Sporb

Creative Writers: Hobbes, and myself

Anybody know where I can find some pics to use which are FREE? Apparently, most pics on the web are copyrighted now. This limits what I can use to create an icon.

Is there any reason for the new group size besides fitting with the avatar size?

I don't mean to be rude, but are you going to get on it? It would be nice that we could have such. If you need a icon, just shrink the one from my sig. I'm tired of seeing nondevelopers attach it to their sigs. I shouldn't have to pm every kid that comes on here that thinks they could be a smart alec and look like they know something while causing problems. And I wouldn't call for a ban for such problems, they are kids. No need to punish for something that can be fixed.
