Hi, I'm trying to do a Russian translation for UFO1 v1.4. Actually, there is already a translation for 1.0 (or 1.1? just don't remember) with Russian fonts. But some cyrillic letters actualy wider or narrower than latin ones. And when I move font files along with language files from 1.0 to 1.4 - letters "jump" on each other.

I think that the info for this - the letters size - is somewhere in geoscape.exe (or tactical.exe?) The work of resizing fonts is done by previous anonymus translater. But I never can found how to contact the author. And exe from 1.0 is different from 1.4, so no change possible...

Sorry for long explaination ) Question still is - how to find the fontsize info, possible in .exe?

I believe the font sizes are stored in the GEODATA folder under "BIGLETS.DAT" (large characters) and "SMALLSET.DAT" (normal sized characters). Don't ask me how to change them though. ;)
