Unique
I click on install when the autostart pops up, and it just goes to a big blank black screen. I have to minimize and close the window. So far, this is as far as I've gotten. Any help with this? Thanks in advance.
Bad-Wolf
seehttp://www.xcomufo.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=242028596installing through windows is harder than installing using the DOSBox and many problems can arise such as the installer thinking you don't have enough hard-drive space etc
Unknown Incindence Officer
i have a similar problem, it used to work on my computer (with all the fixes and stuff) but m computer got wiped and got latest drivers etc. i found that previously x-com interceptor did not work as the mouse didnt show, but mysteriously now it does. the probelm is that its traded the working of interceptor with apocalypse, as now it doesnt work. it comes up with the auto run screen, click install and it comes up with an error message. NTVD illegal instruction, close or ignore, or something along those lines. if i click ignore it has some dos window that just sits there and does nothing. if i click close it closes, eventually. this is pretty confusing and i am yet to find someone else with the same problems. is there a fix for this as i am looking everywhere and nothing even touches on the issue. every apoc fix assumes you can actually install. i cant. ive tried copying the files from my CE apocalypse cd but every file except one entitled 'music' copies. it says something about cyclic redundancy or some crap like that. anyone got any idea what i could do as i really have to play and beat this game. Zombie
Cyclic redundancy problems probably means your Apoc disc is scratched (I get this quite often with floppies). Try cleaning the disc and copy again. - Zombie
